Rising Sun Farm is a sustainable all-natural family farm located in Whitehall, New York. Owned and operated by Levi Cahan with partners Jeffrey and Sally Cahan, Rising Sun Farm has developed a superior grass-fed beef product which has drawn the attention of consumers throughout the tri-state area.

At a young age, Levi developed a passion for agriculture and set a goal to own and operate his own farm. Fueled by his desire, Levi attended Cornell University to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and Masters Degree in Agriculture Education. Levi spent a semester in New Zealand studying rotational grazing and noticed the benefits of feeding animals on an all grass-fed diet. This prompted his search for the perfect farm after graduation and in 2006, with the help of his partners, a small farm was purchased in Whitehall, New York.

Further, Levi started teaching high school Agriculture in the Saratoga, New York area to pass his passion and knowledge to future farmers.
